Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 6-8 large green olives, quartered
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 TBSP capers
- 1 8z can Tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 TBSP Sazon Seasoning
- 1 TBSP Cumin
- 1 tsp white sugar
- Salt to taste
Sazon Seasoning
- 2 TBSP ground coriander
- 2 TBSP ground cumin
- 2 TBSP ground turmeric
- 2 TBSP garlic powder
- 4 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp onion powder
Directions
- In a large skillet over med-high heat; sauté garlic, onion and bell pepper in hot oil until softened, about 5-7 mins
- Add ground meat, cook until browned, about 7-10 mins
- Drain fat off
- Add olives, raisins, capers, tomato sauce, sazon seasoning, cumin, sugar and salt, mixing throughly.
- Cover skillet, reduce heat to low and simmer 5-10 mins
- Serve with rice

I had a hard time finding the Sazon seasoning locally, here it is on Amazon. Or you can make your own with the recipe included above. Personally, I buy my Sazon seasoning.
