Ingredients
- 2 lb London Broil
Marinade
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 TPSB dried Rosemary
- 1 TBSP Kosher Salt
- 2 TBSP Liquid Smoke
Garnish
- 3 cups mushrooms
- Onion, chopped
Directions
- Mix all marinade ingredients together
- Place London Broil in a large Ziplock bag
- Add marinade and press out air
- Let sit at least 3 hours, up to 24 hours
- Flip a few times to ensure both sides get plenty soaked in
- Remove from fridge 30 mins before cooking to bring to room temp
- Turn oven broiler on high
- Make sure that once London Broil is on cookie sheet, there is about 2-3 inches between the top of the steak and the heating unit
- Take a large cooking sheet, cover in foil
- Place in oven for about 5 mins to get warmed
- Take out and place London Broil on cookie sheet
- Broil for 7 mins
- Flip, using tongs. Do not use a fork or anything else that would puncture meat
- Broil for additional 7 mins
- Check internal temp, continue to cook until temp reaches desired doneness
- Remove and let rest for 10 mins
- In a large skillet over med-high heat, sauté onions and mushrooms until caramelized
- Cut London Broil in 3/4†pieces
- Top with mushrooms and onions
- Serve with potatoes and vegetable of choice
