London Broil Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lb London Broil

Marinade

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 TPSB dried Rosemary
  • 1 TBSP Kosher Salt
  • 2 TBSP Liquid Smoke

Garnish

  • 3 cups mushrooms
  • Onion, chopped

Directions

  1. Mix all marinade ingredients together
  2. Place London Broil in a large Ziplock bag
  3. Add marinade and press out air
  4. Let sit at least 3 hours, up to 24 hours
  5. Flip a few times to ensure both sides get plenty soaked in
  6. Remove from fridge 30 mins before cooking to bring to room temp
  7. Turn oven broiler on high
  8. Make sure that once London Broil is on cookie sheet, there is about 2-3 inches between the top of the steak and the heating unit
  9. Take a large cooking sheet, cover in foil
  10. Place in oven for about 5 mins to get warmed
  11. Take out and place London Broil on cookie sheet
  12. Broil for 7 mins
  13. Flip, using tongs. Do not use a fork or anything else that would puncture meat
  14. Broil for additional 7 mins
  15. Check internal temp, continue to cook until temp reaches desired doneness
  16. Remove and let rest for 10 mins
  17. In a large skillet over med-high heat, sauté onions and mushrooms until caramelized
  18. Cut London Broil in 3/4” pieces
  19. Top with mushrooms and onions
  20. Serve with potatoes and vegetable of choice
