Asian Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 8-10 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 TBSP Soy sauce
  • 2 TBSP Rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 8oz can water chestnuts, chopped finely
  • 4-5 green onions, sliced
  • White rice, cooked

Directions

  1. Rinse and pat dry lettuce leaves, set aside
  2. In a large skillet over med-high heat; cook ground meat until browned, 5-7 mins
  3. Drain fat
  4. Transfer to a bowl, set aside
  5. Return skillet to stove; sauté onions until tender, about 5-10 mins
  6. Add hoisin sauce, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, and sriracha sauce. Stir and cook 3-4 mins
  7. Add water chestnuts, green onions and beef. Stir and cook 2-3 mins
  8. Arrange lettuce leaves on platter
  9. Put scoop of rice on leaf
  10. Top with beef mixture
