Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 ½ tsp cold water
- 1 ½ tsp corn starch
- 2-3 handfuls of spinach, optional
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 TBSP honey
- 2 TBSP Hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
- 2 tsp ground ginger
Directions
- In a large skillet over med-high heat, sauté chicken until 90% done.
- In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water,
- In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients, bring to a boil
- Add cornstarch mix and bring back to a boil for 2-3 mins, until thickened
- Add sauce and spinach to chicken and finish cooking
- Serve over rice
- Garnish with sesame seeds
Notes:
Spinach can be added to most any skillet meal. Throw a couple handfuls in about 2-3 mins before the meal is done and stir until wilted.
