Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cubed
- 2-3 handfuls spinach, optional
- French Fries, 1 bag frozen
Sauce
- 1 15oz can tomato sauce
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 TBSP curry powder
- 2 TBSP paprika
- 2 TBSP white sugar
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
- Cook fries per package instructions
- In large bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Set aside
- In large skillet over med-high heat; sauté chicken until 90% done
- Add sauce and spinach, cook until wilted
- Serve over French fries
Notes:
Spinach can be added to most any skillet meal. Throw a couple handfuls in about 2-3 mins before the meal is done and stir until wilted.
I first had Currywurst at the Haufbrauhaus in Las Vegas and loved it. I decided I had to figure out how to make it myself. This recipe comes pretty close and personally I like it better.
